South Asian contractor facing charges related to renovation fraud 

42 year old Hardish Khinda aka Sunny charged with a series of alleged renovation frauds in Mississauga and Brampton. Peel Regional Police Fraud Bureau arrested Khinda from Norval. In September 2021 and February 2023, Khinda, of Weaver Home Improvement and North Side Renovations, allegedly signed five renovation contracts and collected deposits totaling $37,000. In every instance, Khinda promised to provide a service, signed a contract, collected a deposit, and failed to provide said service or return the deposit.
