The woman hit by a “volleyball-sized rock” that flew through the windshield of her car while driving on Highway 1 in Burnaby has died, police confirmed. The BC Highway Patrol explained the victim was a 34-year-old woman. The incident happened last Thursday when the rock went flying through the windshield of a white sedan, striking the woman before blowing out the back window.
