Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle on South Granville

Vancouver Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle at Granville Street and West 52nd Avenue shortly after 1:10 a.m.

Police said the 27-year-old man was crossing the street when he was hit. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, where he later died.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
