$11 million funding announced for upgrade of 2 parks in Surrey

The federal government has announced an investment of up to $11 million to upgrade two major parks in Surrey-Newton: Newton Athletic Park and Unwin Park. The funding, provided through the Direct Delivery stream of the Build Communities Strong Fund, was officially announced by Surrey-Newton MP Sukh Dhaliwal alongside City of Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke.
