Two Suspects Sought in Clothing Store Arson Investigation

Toronto police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying two suspects wanted in connection with an early-morning arson at a clothing store in west Toronto earlier this month.

According to a news release by police, officers responded to a fire near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Albert Avenue at around 3:47 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026.

Police say that two suspects approached the clothing business, allegedly smashed the store’s windows and poured an accelerant inside. They then ignited the substance, starting a fire, before fleeing the area in a vehicle.

The first suspect is described as having a medium build and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a dark balaclava, dark pants and dark athletic shoes with light-coloured soles.

The second suspect is described as a male with a medium build, wearing a dark hooded jacket, a black surgical-style mask, a white undershirt, dark pants and dark footwear.

Police say the suspects fled in a silver or grey metallic Honda Civic sedan, believed to be a 2022-to-2026 model.

Images of the suspects have been released as investigators continue to work to identify them. Police have also release a video of the incident on their YouTube channel.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
