Toronto Police Release More Images of Victim Found Deceased in Private Garage

Toronto Police Service is once again asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a deceased man found inside a private garage, and has released additional images of the victim.

Police said officers were called to the area of Dundas Street and Seaton Street at approximately 9:22 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026, for a medical complaint. When officers arrived, they discovered a man inside a private garage in a laneway with clear signs of trauma. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

In the ongoing investigation, police arrested a 30-year-old Toronto man, identified as Boubacar Dembele, on May 25. He has been charged with second-degree murder.

Investigators say the victim has not yet been identified. He has been described as approximately 5-foot-6, with a medium build, dark hair, and dark eyes, and may be of Asian descent.

At the time he was found, the victim was wearing:

A silver necklace with a silver heart-shaped pendant featuring wings and a single clear stone in the centre

A black jacket with the words “Vision Youth Leaders Program” written on it

Police have now released an updated photo of the victim, along with a digital restoration and approximation image, in hopes that someone may recognize him.
