Toronto Police investigating shooting incident inside Scarborough motel

Toronto Police are investigating after evidence of a firearm discharge was discovered inside a motel room in Scarborough on Monday morning.

Toronto Police shared on X that officers responded to a motel in the area of Kingston Road and Bellamy Road at approximately 10:29 a.m. following reports of a firearm discharge.

Upon arrival, police located evidence indicating that a firearm had been discharged inside one of the motel rooms. The incident caused damage to the room's walls; however, no injuries have been reported.

Investigators said there is currently no identified victim and no arrests have been made. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
