Toronto Police arrest third Man in 79-year-old woman’s homicide

Toronto Police have arrested a third suspect in the homicide of 79-year-old Jolan Kun, nearly six months after she was found dead inside her apartment in the city's Wychwood area.

The investigation began on December 9, 2025, when officers responded to a call at an apartment building near St. Clair Avenue West and Rushton Road. Matthews was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on June 9, 2026.
