Toronto Man Arrested in Firearms investigation

Toronto police say a 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a firearms investigation.

On Monday, October 5, 2026, officers with the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force executed search warrants at several locations across Toronto. Accoring to a news release, a loaded Canik 9mm firearm was located and seized during the investigation.

Marc Williams, 46, of Toronto, faces several charges, including possession of a loaded regulated firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm, possession of a prohibited device, and failure to comply with a release order.

Williams was scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on Tuesday, October 6, at 9:30 a.m.

Police have also released an image and are asking anyone with information to contact police.
