Third Arrest Made in Toronto Homicide Investigation
Toronto Police Service has announced that a woman wanted in connection with a homicide investigation stemming from a fatal incident in the city's north end earlier this month has been arrested and charged.
Police were called to the area of Keele Street and Wilson Avenue at approximately 6:01 a.m. on June 14 following reports of an unknown trouble call. Investigators allege that a confrontation involving several individuals escalated into a physical altercation, during which a 32-year-old man was assaulted and struck by a vehicle.
Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Erik Safar of Toronto. The suspects allegedly fled the area in a light-coloured vehicle. The case marks Toronto's 14th homicide of 2026.
Investigators had previously announced the arrests of two male suspects and identified a woman wanted in connection with the incident. Police now say that on June 21, the woman surrendered to police.
Dzsenifer Olah, 25, of Toronto, has now been charged with second-degree murder. She was scheduled to appear before the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on June 22.
