Richmond Hill Practitioner Charged in Sexual Assault Investigation

York Regional Police have charged a 61-year-old Richmond Hill man following a sexual assault investigation.

According to a police news release, a victim attended an acupuncture massage appointment on August 30, 2026, at a location near Major Mackenzie Drive East and Bayview Avenue, where the alleged sexual assault occurred.

The following day, Jianji Li, 61, was arrested and charged with sexual assault.

Investigators have released his photo because they believe there may be additional victims. Police are encouraging anyone who may have been victimized to come forward and report the incident.
