Police Seek Witnesses After Four Vaughan Bus Shelters Damaged Overnight
York Regional Police investigators are asking for the public’s help for information after four bus shelters were damaged overnight in Vaughan.
Police say Investigators with the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau were called to the area of Bathurst Street and Clark Avenue at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, following reports of damaged bus shelters.
Police believe the incident occurred around 12:30 a.m., when a lone suspect riding a yellow electric scooter attended the area and damaged four bus shelters along Clark Avenue between Bathurst Street and Atkinson Avenue.
Police say there is currently no information to suggest the incident was hate-motivated.
