Police Search for Two Suspects After Violent Assault Leaves Man Seriously Injured in Toronto

Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s help in identifying two men wanted in connection with a violent assault in the city’s east end that left one victim hospitalized with serious injuries.

Officers were called to the area of Queen Street East and Leslie Street shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Friday following reports of a fight involving several individuals.

Investigators say the altercation escalated when one suspect allegedly sprayed a victim with a noxious substance. During the same incident, a second suspect reportedly attacked another victim with an edged weapon, causing serious injuries.

The victim was transported to hospital, where he was treated for injuries considered serious but not life-threatening.

As the investigation continues, police have released images of two suspects and are asking members of the public to assist in identifying them.

The first suspect is described as a man in his 20s who was wearing a blue sweatsuit at the time of the incident.

The second suspect is described as a man in his 20s who was wearing a black T-shirt and a black hat.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has video footage from the area, or can identify either suspect to contact police.
