Peel Police seek public help to identify suspect in alleged sexual assault in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate an alleged sexual assault that took place in a Mississauga neighbourhood earlier this month.

Investigators with the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit (SVU) say the incident occurred on May 20 at approximately 8:30 p.m. near Constellation Drive and Sunray Drive. According to police, a woman was approached by an unknown man and was allegedly sexually assaulted.

Authorities said she did not sustain any physical injuries during the encounter.

The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern male, approximately 5-foot-9, with a slim build and an accent. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing a white hoodie and light grey sweatpants.

Investigators are urging anyone with information about the incident, or anyone who may have had a similar encounter involving the same suspect, to contact police.
