Mississauga Man Charged After Alleged Secret Recordings Inside Oakville Store Fitting Rooms

Halton Regional Police have charged a Mississauga man who allegedly recorded women at a Winners store fitting rooms in Oakville.

In a news release issued Thursday, investigators said 36-year-old Dishanth Srideva is facing two counts of voyeurism following an investigation into incidents that allegedly took place inside fitting rooms at a Winners store located at 2460 Winston Churchill Blvd.

Police say officers were called to the store in April 2026 after receiving reports that a man had allegedly used a cellphone to secretly record a woman while she was changing in a fitting room.

During the investigation, detectives allegedly linked the suspect to another similar incident reported at the same store location in November 2024.

On May 16, 2026, investigators executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a residence in Mississauga, where the accused was arrested. Police say several items believed to have evidentiary value were seized, including cellular phones and a laptop computer. Srideva was later released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in Milton at a later date.

Investigators believe there could be additional victims and have released a photo of the accused as part of the investigation. Anyone who believes they may have been victimized, or anyone with information related to the case, is asked to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
