Hamilton Police Investigate Fatal Collision After Cyclist Dead
A male cyclist has died after being struck by a vehicle in Hamilton late Saturday night.
Police said in a news release that Hamilton Emergency Services were called to Upper Centennial Parkway and Green Mountain Road shortly after 11 p.m. on Aug. 22, 2026, following a report of a vehicle striking a cyclist in the northbound lanes. The cyclist, who was also travelling north, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident. Police say alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors at this time.
