Bowmanville drug raid leads to 40 plus charges against three suspects

Durham Regional Police have arrested three people following a drug investigation that led to the seizure of a large quantity of suspected illegal drugs from a home in Bowmanville on August 21.

Police say officers searched the residence and seized Adderall, Percocet, cocaine, ecstasy, MDMA, GHB, mushrooms and cannabis.

The accused have been identified as 46-year-old Dennis Osaka Grant of Clarington, and 40-year-old Ashley Oswald and 57-year-old Jennifer Thomsen, both of Whitby.

All three face more than 40 charges related to drug trafficking and possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking.

Police say Oswald was released under conditions, while Grant and Thomsen were held in custody pending bail hearings.

The allegations have not been proven in court.
