Victim of serious assault in Ogden dies in hospital

A man in his 20s has died following a serious assault last week in the southeast community of Ogden.

Police say they were called to a home in the 2300 block of Crestwood Road S.E. at approximately 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, after receiving reports of a physical altercation.

Officers found the victim on scene suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, to be conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

According to Calgary Police Service, the suspects had fled the scene before officers arrived. Investigators believe the incident is domestic-related and have stated there is no ongoing threat to public safety. Efforts are underway to locate those responsible.
