Satinderjeet Singh added to FBI ten most wanted fugitives list

A man wanted on a range of federal charges, including murder, extortion and drug distribution, has been added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

Brar was charged back in July for the 2023 assassination of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey, B.C.

FBI Los Angeles says, Satinderjeet Singh, also known as Goldy Brar and by several other aliases, is wanted for his alleged involvement with the Lawrence Bishnoi Organized Crime Group. The group is allegedly involved in various violent activities in Southern California and across the United States and Canada.

The alleged crimes include targeted assassinations, including the killing of a prominent political and religious figure, as well as shootings, murders, kidnappings, extortion, assaults and the trafficking of narcotics and weapons.

Singh is based in the United States and is alleged to be the group’s leader in North America.

He has been charged in federal court in Los Angeles with multiple offences, including conspiracy under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, conspiracy to interfere with and attempted interference with commerce through extortion, and conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances.

“Satinderjeep Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, is a dangerous individual, and the FBI and our partners have made it our priority to apprehend him, which is why we’re adding him to the FBI’s list of Top Ten fugitives and offering a reward of up to $1 million dollars for his capture,” said ADIC Grandy.

“The amount of attention this list will bring to his face and description cannot be overstated; his photo will be found on every FBI-affiliated website and social media platform, and will be publicized on every phone around the world until he’s caught.”

Singh is the 543rd addition to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

The press release by FBI Los Angeles states that since the list was established in 1950, 28 defendants who committed crimes or are alleged to have committed crimes in the Los Angeles region have been added to the list. Another 36 defendants who committed crimes in other parts of the United States have been arrested in Los Angeles.

Singh is considered extremely violent, armed and dangerous. He is known to reside in California and various parts of Canada. “Singh should be regarded as armed and dangerous,” said Patrick Grandy, the FBI’s assistant director in charge in Los Angeles, during a joint news conference with the RCMP on Monday.
