A 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck off of BC’s coast early this morning. Natural Resources Canada says the quake was felt around 4 a.m., about 11 kilometers southeast of Sidney. The department says the quake was lightly felt in Victoria and Metro Vancouver. The BC government says there are no reports of any injuries and none are expected. The province confirmed there is no risk of a tsunami.
