The four men accused of murdering BC Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar have been placed under a no-contact order involving several community members. Three of the four suspects (Karan Brar, Kamalpreet Singh, Karanpreet Singh) appeared in court in person while a fourth(Amandeep Singh) appeared via video link as he remains in police custody in Ontario on unrelated weapons charges. All four suspects are accused of murder and conspiracy in the death of Nijjar, who was shot to death on 18th June,2023 in Surrey. Nijjar supporters were present outside the court holding Khalistan flags and placards asking for justice.
